WHAT IS APPLIED KINESIOLOGY?

There are many trainings that use the name of kinesiology in Spain, but the reality is that none of them are official courses accredited by the International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK) nor are their instructors qualified to offer it. Hence, many health professionals have a distorted view of what Applied Kinesiology is and have failed to appreciate the true essence of the teachings of its founder, Dr. Goodheart, and all those who, like our instructors, have contributed in give scientific rigor and perfect some techniques.
Dr. Cindy Vilahur and Dr. Jordi Gutierrez are the only accredited Applied Kinesiology instructors in Spain. Our courses are the only ones certified by PAK (Professional Applied Kinesiology) and ICAK. Choosing us is choosing quality and going for official training.
By taking the 100-hour course of AK training, you will be able to take the exam that accredits you as an AK practitioner (ICAK test of competence).
Our first edition of the course in Spanish and English welcomed more than 50 students. This first course in Applied Kinesiology, was carried out in the center of Barcelona with great success.
What is Applied Kinesiology?
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a system that assesses structural, chemical and mental aspects of health using manual muscle testing in conjunction with other standard diagnostic methods.
Dr. George J. Goodheart Jr. (1918-2008) is the father of Applied Kinesiology. In 1964 he made the first correlation between a weak muscle – under manual muscle testing – and chiropractic techniques to strengthen it. From there, he integrated studies of medicine, osteopathy, acupuncture, dentistry, nutrition, biochemistry and others, in order to increase the health of patients. Dr. Goodheart was unique in his holistic approach to the patient, always wondering why to problems, investigating their causes and mechanisms of action
